We are known for fine custom made jewelry and jewelry re-styling. Oxford has a Master Jeweler on premises to help you realize your vision. He works in gold or platinum and is skilled at setting fine quality gems. Starting from an idea or a picture, we will work with you to fabricate a beautiful, one-of-a-kind piece.

We know that your jewelry and watches are precious to you, so at Oxford we take repairs very seriously.  We carefully inspect your items when you bring them to us and then we re-inspect them to assure that they are repaired properly before you pick them up.

Our Graduate Gemologist can do any type of appraisal. Your pieces will be inspected, graded and researched to evaluate them for the appraisal type that you require, such as:

  • Insurance Replacement Value: used so that items may be properly insured
  • Fair Market Value: used for selling your pieces
  • Estate Purpose Value: used for divorce liquidation and for estate tax purposes
  • Damage Report: used when an item is damaged or a gemstone becomes chipped or loose
  • Replacement Report: used when an item or gemstone is lost or stolen

We know that damage to or loss of a precious item is very upsetting.  At Oxford we will always provide your appraisal report quickly so that you can present it to your insurance company and have your jewelry repaired or replaced as soon as possible.

We are one of the few trusted jewelers used by most insurance companies to evaluate damaged or lost jewelry and watches. Oxford works with Chubb, New Jersey Manufacturers and State Farm to name a few.

Set While You Wait

When you purchase your diamond, you can take it home with you that same day so it is never out of your sight. Then, when your setting is ready, we will schedule an appointment for you to sit with our Master Jeweler to watch as the stone is set.
