About Oxford Jewelers

OUR HISTORY

Oxford Jewelers, formerly known as Julius Oksenhorn, has been selling fine diamonds and jewelry since 1930. This fourth-generation family business was founded in Newark, moving to Millburn in the late 1960’s. In 2017, the Oksenhorn family decided to retire, entrusting their store and their stellar reputation to their beloved, lifetime employees.

We will continue to uphold the Oksenhorn family’s legacy of honesty and integrity, while continuing to specialize in providing the finest quality diamonds at the fairest prices. This is what keeps clients coming back generation after generation.

Our business has stood the test of time, providing a full range of jewelry services. Our on-premise master jewelers create custom designs and re-style our clients’ precious treasures. We do all types of jewelry and watch repairs, and we especially love to buy your estate jewelry and silver.

At Oxford, you can be assured that the most treasured clients, as well as our newest customers, will always be well taken care of.

OUR TEAM

Dave Delano

Dave Delano was raised in Millburn and is proud to be a part of the community. He began his career at Oksenhorn Jewelers when he was still in high school, becoming a jeweler’s apprentice in 1974. Then, in 1976 he became a full time employee. Dave quickly realized that he had a passion for designing and repairing fine jewelry. In 1979, Dave began to hone his craft, becoming a Master Jeweler. He is an expert in all aspects of jewelry fabrication and repair, and leads the industry in jewelry restyling, with a reputation for superior craftsmanship and reliability. Clients have trusted Dave with their fine diamonds and precious gems for over 40 years.

Devin Culleton

Born and raised in Millburn, Devin Culleton started working with the Oksenhorns in 1986. He has worked with all four generations of the family and is held in the highest regard by our customers. In the beginning Devin helped in all aspects of the business from sales assistant to customer service. He also apprenticed with the jewelers, learning how to polish and repair watches and jewelry. Devin’s curiosity for diamonds then lead him to earn a Diamond Certificate from The Gemological Institute of America. Now, as our Chief Operating Officer, Devin does it all. His particular specialty is sourcing jewelry: ask Devin for any type of jewelry, diamond or timepiece and he will find it for you!
